PS yet another thread about other clubs. May was the last time you started a thread about Chelsea on this board. Why nothing since May?

 

I've asked this question before and was assured it was nothing to do with Chelsea's demise.

Arsenal v Spurs has long since ousted 'Pool v United.

Barca v Real is, I am sure, a great tie, but it really has little resonance with most English fans. No one I know could give a toss about it.

lots of big derbies around the world, but El Classico is probably the biggest because of it's historical significance with the Spanish civil war, followed by the old firm derby, people in those countries tend to support one or the other depending on their polotics/religion. No one outside of United or Liverpool fans really give much of a **** on the result of Man U v Liverpool other than it's significance on the league table, which this season means no one.

The biggest game in football, though, was Hondurus v El Salvador in 1969, it started a 4 day war.

 

But what about Chelsea v Fulham?

Technically Barca don't necessarily play at the Bernebau at least twice a year, it depends on the fixture list across two seasons that span the same year. For example if they played away to Real at the start of the 2014/15 season and away to them at the end of the 2015/16 season then they wouldn't play at the Bernebau in 2015 unless they drew Real away in a cup competition.
