You're only saying that because I keep you deluded Spuds in check :)

Somebody has to. You're bad enough as it is, can you imagine what it would be like otherwise. We'd have claims of the Spuds saying that they are the biggest team in North London otherwise.

Is this when someone is supposed to say if it was full of migrants, wish it had sunk?

    Armchair gets the joke.

I bet you wore white socks and a nice shiny suit, or no socks and suit sleeves rolled up.
You are from Essex aren't you ?

Certainly not! My suits were made by a tailor on Eastcheap. I confess to having a couple of Armani suits at the time too.

I lived in Surrey before I moved over here.

    only yanking your chain. :)

i used to have just off saville row tailored suits and shirts, and as i had to stand all day i used to get my shoes hand made as well. oh the luxury.

my eighties guilty fashion secret was a Hugo Boss suit that cost an obscene amount of money even then, which I lent to a mate from my Rugby Club to wear on a night out and he promptly ruined it. it looked like he had slept in it after god knows what else. he had no memory of what happened, and no amount of dry cleaning could sort it out.

Oswald Boateng suits for me. I only own one now, which was my wedding suit. But tailored to last a lifetime.

    It's Ozwald, by the way. Hope yours isn't a knock-off. <whistle>
