An owner who invests £1 in Everton will be more than we've had for the last 16 years......

Yes I already explained how great the deal is, though mainly for the buyer since it will have covered its own cost within 1.5 seasons <ok>

You need to learn the difference between turnover and profit mate

Turnover is vanity, profit is sanity.......cash is king....

OK so it might take up to 3 seasons assuming the only profit comes from the new TV deal

Isn't it weird you used to be valued at £200m, a massive new TV deal and the huge valuations of a few of your players and you're still only worth £200m?

£200m isn't the full value of the club though, merely the cost of buying out the 3 majority stakeholders.

Whoever buys Everton will have to invest in a stadium solution and in the playing squad in order to move the club forwards and thus improve their equity value.

£200m represents a profit of circa £150m for Kenwright, Woods and Earle.

    Not bad eh?

For an investment of £0 in the actual business itself...

I've never had a problem with Bill as a bloke and he is certainly a committed Evertonian but him and his cronies have been holding back the club for years - as they were unable / unwilling to invest capital in the business infrastructure.

All wumming aside, I don't expect (if true) that Moshiri will be a sugar daddy owner, but I'm sure he'd have the nouse and the ability to provide the business with the much needed capitilisation that would see it move forwards.

I'd be delighted if this comes off.

And wumming aside, Liverpool fans don't want Everton to decline too much. I don't think they're better owners than FSG and I don't think they'll make you a better club than Liverpool but I'm fine with them making you better than most other clubs.

  15. Hicks & Gillette were both billionaires (albeit dollars) when they bought Liverpool FC. They were billionaire owners in sterling if you combine their wealth.

Much like FSG is worth more as the true owners of Liverpool FC. Henry isn't the sole owner.

H&G bought Liverpool with a cash outlay of £7m a piece.

The rest of the purchase cost was leveraged

FSG will take their profit out of Liverpool via an exit strategy, I doubt they'll still be the owners by the turn of the decade personally. They'll balance the books, get it back into profit, and shift it on.

They've actually delivered on stadium development though, which still remains just a hope for you.

    The proof of the pudding....

We'll see what happens in the fullness of time. You can't say they'll be better, worse or the same today.

I can say I honestly think £200m is low in light of £80m/season TV rights
