Blimey; you live and learn. Yes there are bad fans at every team but I've seen trouble three times at Saints games. Once with Reading, twice with Bournemouth (in four different locations in a sample of two games). So, I still stand by my comment. Their fans look for trouble. Vin
If you'd been under the Northam when they were fighting to get through the steel roller shutters you might think it was a significant minority. Or, if you'd been on the bus I was on surrounded by a hundred Bournemouth fans fighting the Police (who were heavily outnumbered and having to use batons) you might not be so sanguine about the numbers. I was alive in the days of really serious crowd violence and both of these incidents were in the same level of threat with a lot of people involved. In both cases I feared for my safety (however, after that week I spent trapped in a wet paper bag, that's not saying much). I have no doubt I'm wrong, Tom, but in my experience, and my experience only, Bournemouth fans have been the worst behaved of any visitors to St Marys. By far. Vin
It is on BT1 which I can receive free....never signed up for the European matches. The annoying thing for you is that whilst I can receive it, I usually end up hiding as the stress is killing. May be ok if we go 3-0 up in first ten minutes #fingerscrossed

Look you guys I may be immobile but I am still around so don't talk about me as if I was dead. I think Ron's comment about Howe not having played for Barcelona was his undoing. It obviously rankled. They played a Pochitino style game while we played a Hoddle style game: ie they ran us ragged and we stood back and let them. Sometimes I really think Ron is naïve. It was quite clear from the off that they were going to cut off our supply from the wings. This was their Derby game and they played as if it really mattered while we thought it was an afternoon walk in the park. We got what we deserved. **** all.
