This from the site "Indie/alternative rock band Dalaro from Newcastle have been announced as the Fan Zone band for the visit of Crystal Palace on Tuesday 1st March. Must be a wind up. Surely they`ve got more sense than that. Bands playing pubs and clubs in the area is an entirely different thing to playing at the actual stadium. I suppose it might depend on how they behave. I hope for their sake they don`t use a black and white backdrop.
Looks like this to me. Gordon and Bart exchanged words and it got heated, It happens. Bart is now pursuing Gordon round the board to abuse him. A mod has picked up on him (Pops) and set him straight in post 3. Ball's in Bart's court now surely?
Thats the problem with posts/txts - humour & wry views easily mis-read and the message content leads to fall outs - maybe need a Skype app added to the site - a techies view if possible ??
My take on this....The mods should only intervene if the the comments contravene site rules or if posters are continually derailing threads. Personal disputes, if they continue over a period, could possibly cross both boundaries. However in the main they can be solved by either getting over it or pressing the ignore button for that poster.. Who would be a mod eh!!
What exactly do you think we should do? What do you consider the job of a mod? Should we ban everyone that calls someone a name they don't like? Bart has little to say and only appears to have a problem with you so stick him on ignore (@master-simpson you should do the same with Gordon instead of disrupting threads for no reason). One word does not ruin a thread. We support all posters on here and are probably the most easy going mods on this site. He doesn't like you, you don't like him. I have no issues with either of you and most others probably don't.
