Don't get this Anti-Powell **** - he livened midfield up once Meyler went off - thought he did OK considering he's not played much - we could have won tonight given a rub of the green and we could have lost - Bruce has got to stop this negative first-half **** then push on in the second - it's pathetic

Decent game that, created enough to win it five times but didn't take our chances. Wednesday didn't create a single opportunity.

No need for alarm bells. Was better than the Brighton game.

Jake should have been off instead of Meyler, he was woeful.

Who was that fat Sunday league player they brought on near the end? He was rubbish - looked like a less athletic version of Jon Parkin.

Frustrating night with Wednesday coming to set up like Brighton.

I thought we had some nice passages of play in the first 15-20 minutes, then they got a foothold in the game. Second half we totally dominated.

The ref was poor on the time wasting tactics employed by Wednesday.

Forestieri deserved his sending off as he should have been booked much earlier in the game for diving, which he did persistently.

Why don't these clueless doom mongers turn up when we win? There was no sign of the ****ers on Tuesday night. ****s.

Yes they should start selling £15 tickets to get in after 45 mins.

I thought Powell was excellent when he came on. Gave us some fresh impetus and was trying to make us play through the centre, rather than always out to the wing.

Why was Snodgrass trying to get onto the byline before making a cross? He could have put the ball into the box on the diagonal on at least half a dozen occasions, but instead opted to go to the byline and every time failed to make the cross.

Overall 4 points from 2 games against teams both in and around the play offs is a decent return.

Another clean sheet and another point.

I thought there was effort in the 2nd half and that could have won the game, though the subs didn't really seem to work that well.

The first half though was largely abject, with players having no clue what to do once they reached the edge of penalty area.

That's five games now without conceding a goal.
Bruce is clueless, the Sunderland fans were right.

If you watched the Championship last season youd have seen Bournemouth???
They just went for it every game.
They didnt give a **** for reputation and ended up as champions.
Weve got a lot better team than they had.

So when we hold Arsenal, with all the expensive players they have, its a brilliant result and a resilient performance against better oppositon.
But we should be 3 up against Wensdee after 10 minutes otherwise Bruce is a clueless **** with no plan B?
Theres some right ****ers pop up when we draw or lose.

So you think Eddie Howe's tactics were "just go for it"?
Why don't you take your coaching badge? you'd sail through..

Frustrating night but teams come to ours now and invite us to break them down. It's the only way they see a chance on the counter attack of scoring against us. Teamwise we are still ok,but if one or two are not on ther game we struggle to create.

If Wednesday go up, they'll finish bottom with record low points, bloody awful. A couple of decent players but nothing at all when it came to quality throughout the team. When Hooper came off I didn't realise he'd even been on. We did the job tonight. 4 points from 2 games. We should have won really but post & keeper saved them. Thought Abel was quiet tonight, didn't look tired but just couldn't get free enough!

You fail to see my point.
We've got one of the best teams youre likely to see in the championship.
To win titles these sort of matches cant pass you by.
But if youre happy being second best fair play to you.
PS Id like to see just one peice of silverware In my lifetime.
To much to ask is it because we are STILL PLAYING WITHIN OURSELVES.
    Have a nice day

The service to Abel was poor tonight because our only real flair player had an off night. Good point for Wendy that, did the homework on us and it paid off. It's up to the home side to take the game by the scruff of the neck and City failed to do that for 45 mins, unforgivable really considering what was potentially up for grabs again.

Not a bad game, in the second half there was only one team trying to win it and that was us. The time wasting was annoying, and on another day if we had got the first goal I am sure we would have gone on to win it.

We may well find that we have better chances to win away from home now, teams are coming here filling the midfield and trying to stop us play. Away from home the onus is on the home team to go forward, which will present more chances for us.
