I have no idea where Powell was supposed to be playing, he was all over the shop. He obviously has talent, but he did too much sulky **** for my liking.
Well no, I wasn't there. I've got the man flu you see. Watched it on the telly. Powell was **** though.
Snodgrass and Moses had the beating of the Wendies defence down our right flank - but the left was poor in the 1st half. Clucas and Robbo improved a lot 2nd half and we really had the chances to win the game.
Snodders Cluas Dave overall thought we played well, credit to the Wendies their spoiling tatics worked...frustrated us just didn't have that bit of luck tonight
Snodgrass - easily. Clucas and Robbo, but both lack touch. What was Powell sent on to do; was he told? Two points dropped. Dave can't cross a ball. Westwood was the true MOTM.
Snodgrass ( Best player on the pitch but really disappointed that he dived a couple of times ) Odubajo ( Bags of talent just needs to make his crosses count ) Robertson ( Getting better and must be on the radar for many of the big boys ) I liked what I saw of Powell although a little confused to which position SB was trying to play him. Again bags of talent and at least he tried to make things happen. Early days but I think he will produce the goods and help us gain promotion.
Snoddy Clucas Powell Daws needs a commendation for getting that **** sent off even if he didn't mean it.
I'm normally in agreement with the consensus on this MOM vote, but Snodgrass? I thought he was really poor tonight. His insistence on getting to the byline every time and fluffing the chance to cross infuriated the hell out of me. Dave Powell Davies
That diving little **** should have been booked much earlier in the game for diving. Even the ref indicated a dive, yet didn't card him for simulation. The officials tonight were very poor.
Agree with all this, there's an odd hesitancy when him and Dave come to cross the ball, both often had plenty of time but waited until they were essentially closed down before doing anything. One of Jakes worst performances for us, he looked totally disjointed. He needs a rest. That central midfielder we keep playing as a striker should drop back to his natural position and we could try one of the other 2 strikers who aren't getting much game time at the moment.
Based on Powells performance, I'd be tempted to given him a crack in midfield. There did seem an element of lethargy about certain players. Maybe there are one or two a little weary, Bruce identified this as a potential concern, yet he opted not to change it. I think on previous experience I'd have had a look at midfield.
