Fraser Campbell is the latest .... http://www.footballinsider247.com/revealed-leeds-make-move-for-premier-league-attacker/? Not sure about this guy. Try before you buy is the only option to consider given his lack of goals of late, but the wages worry me. And he's ex-scum, so he's on a hiding to nothing if he doesn't produce immediately. A howling crowd is not the easiest thing for a striker that relies on confidence.
Campbell's name was mentioned the day before the transfer window closed but it didn't go anywhere. Would certainly be a step in the right direction.
He's wanted a move back up north for ages, was hoping he was going to Everton in the summer, my mate re-wired his house in Huddersfield NOT Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Think it's done mate [emoji106] I tried just as Ell did it [emoji23] NOT Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
17 yo George Hirst, son of David is on our radar, if you believe the rumours ..... http://sportwitness.ning.com/forum/...tle-to-do-battle-to-sign-highly-rated-forward Leeds United and Newcastle United are both interested in signing Sheffield Wednesday forward George Hirst according to The Sun. The 17 year old is the son of Sheffield Wednesday legend David Hirst, who starred for the Owls in the 1990s. The Sun have claimed both Leeds United and Newcastle United are keen to sign the England youth international, and as it stands the Premier League side are leading the chase to sign the youngster. Hirst is also being tracked by other clubs after he recently impressed during England U17s clash with Germany, in which he scored two goals. Hirst is tipped for a bright future in the game, and therefore Sheffield Wednesday will do all they can to keep the player at the club despite the interest from others. The Yorkshire side hope to achieve promotion to the Premier League this season after a long absence from the top flight, and are therefore looking to the future by securing Hirst on a long term deal.
please log in to view this image Leeds United join three clubs in race for Celtic midfielder Leeds United are among three other Championship clubs who are keen on signing Celtic midfielder Scott Allan, with the Scottish player struggling to find regular playing time with the Hoops. Making just one league start this season, Allan is likely to be offloaded in the summer or on loan if the right club and offer were to come in. Derby, Nottingham Forest and QPR are all also interested in the former Scotland U21 international who joined the SPL Champions last summer from Hibernian. Leeds United boss Steve Evans has been a long-time admirer of the 24 year-old and tried to sign him while manager of Rotherham last summer before the midfielder signed for the Bhoys. Allan, who started his career in Scotland with Dundee United, has already played for several clubs in England including Portsmouth, MK Dons, Birmingham City and West Brom. During his time with Hibernian in the 2014-15 season Allan played 32 games, scoring twice, and was awarded the Scottish Championship PFA Player of the Year for his influential role in their 2nd placed league finish.
This is probably load of old tosh. Why would we want to sign a 29yo RB when we've got 2 good RBs already (plus Wootton)? http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/03/1...target-hints-at-potential-summer-move/page/1/
Looks like it's the end of the road for this thread - we're not signing anyone on loan! http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...-no-signings-loan-window-transfer-news-gossip
