  2. Both Spurs and Leicester still look like pretty good bets.

No way would I put money on Arsenal at those short odds. I'd want much longer odds than 7/2.

  3. Hang on a minute!

    I've just noticed something...

What the flying fcuk are 'Pool doing in there at 14/1? Surely that must be some kind of sick joke!

Are the bookies seriously trying to tell us that Leicester are almost certain to fall away, whilst 'Pool are going to make a charge and take their place?

    It is utterly preposterous!

They are probably basing it on the fact that Klopp will be given money to rebuild in the summer. Also he will have had the best part of a season under his belt. He's a top quality manager, who builds good teams, as you are about to find out when you play Dortmund. Expecting Liverpool to finish above Spurs next season.

  5. I don't think 'Pool will finish above Arsenal next season, let alone us!

There's no accounting for what scenarios might play out in that parallel dimension of yours mate :)

  7. Yeah, because in this one, Leicester have been topping the league all season, and Chelsea have been fighting relegation! Perfectly normal/

Not really, if even you scraped it this season it still wouldn't be normal. It would be once in two decades.

I'll enjoy it even more if you're carrying one of a smiling Sol Cambell holding the league title trophy aloft in his Arsenal shirt :)

Only a moron would pay any attention to those odds so far out from the start of next season.

I expect Pool fans to be selling all the lead and copper they have got as we speak, before the odds shorten because they managed to get a corner in the upcoming League cup final.

You've got to fancy Chelsea if they have no European commitments and a manager who doesn't alienate the decent players

That's the problem with predicting this far out. Chelsea's squad next season is a total unknown. Hazard, Costa and Terry are all leaving. I suspect Willian will get a move to a big club as he's been very good this season. Who will replace them and can a manager who doesn't speak English get the new squad to gel quickly?

That's nothing compared to when Spurs last won it, when woolly mammoth still roamed. As for West Ham, probably best we don't go there eh ? :)
