Your wide-eyed optimism is sooo cute, Bambi. But just you wait until that nasty hunter shoots and kills your mum for his supper table, your world is going to get very, very dark.
People? please log in to view this image ... . perhaps we can't compete with the very elite clubs on the wage front ... we can compete with you guys though
You really can't, but it's not us that you have to worry about. Very few of your players match the transfer policy at Spurs. Kante is probably the only one out of your first XI and I expect clubs with more money than us to go in for him. Let's pick an obvious choice for where he might end up: Arsenal. He ticks lots of their boxes and has impressed against them this season, plus the likes of Flamini and Arteta look to be on the way out. If they go in for him, then what do you think is going to happen?
It's really going to hit you hard when that hunter puts a 0.25 bullet through mummy's skull, isn't it, Bambi?
... cutting through the effluent ... a nugget of truth in a steaming pile .. you can't afford our best and you know it .. we wouldn't be taking one of Del Boy's instalment deals for starters ... stick to MK Dons ... that didn't work out too bad
Bambi, let me ask you a very simple question. If Real decide that they want Mahrez which of these do you think is most likely to happen? (a) He'll tell them to shove their interest up their arses: "I'm a Leicester City player to the day I die!" or (b) He'll be off like a shot: "Real were my boy-hood club!"
We can easily afford your best. A lot of clubs can. That's your problem. You're fortunate that a lot of your players aren't what the richer clubs will be going for, though. Your defence should remain largely untouched, due to age and style of play, for example. Nice to see you avoid the question, though. Probably because we all know the answer.

... would the 'correct answer' remain the same f you were to transpose 'Mahrez' with 'Kane' and Leicester City' with 'Tottenham Hotspurs' .. if so, I completely agree .
The only real thing going for the Foxes, and that might help them, is that few of the establish giants, like Spurs, £ity or Chelsea, play chip-and-run footy, so there could be a limited call on any of their squad. There are a couple of their players who I would possibly put on our bench - Mahrez and Kante, for example. Possibly Drinkwater, too, if Leicester don't want silly money for him.
Kane's already come out and said that he wants to become a legend at Spurs. Your mummy needs to run faster than that, if she wants to avoid the bullet, Bambi.
... just as we can afford yours these days of course ... I think your defence is likely to remain untouched too ... OK on age but the likes of Kyle Walker are pretty ordinary ...
You think that you can afford our players? I know that you've got a bit carried away with your success this season, but leave the Super Tenants alone, ok?
... well becoming a legend at spurs won't be anything that special tbf ... of coure he'll stay with you ... you are a top top club ... my mummy has far more chance of avoiding any kind of bullet than you have of not having to wear a dscreet pad in later life thank to receiving excessive Ruperting please log in to view this image
just as much as you can afford ours ... get used to it ... Mahrez getting linked with Real Madrid and Barca ... Kane off to mid-table Man Utd in the close season ... Alli to Arsenal or Chelsea ........... the times they are a changing
