Been ****e all season (possibly even worse than we were last season) lose 6-0 at home to Liverpool and then lose to their development team 3-0! Not even the best team at Aston Villa! any sympathy anyone??
Work with a Villa fan, he said towards the end of the Liverpool game his 13 year old niece walked into the room stared closely at the TV and said '6-0, now that's a shame uncle Martin' Owch!!
Hopefully they'll go into administration, crumble and scrape along in the conference where they can tell everyone what a big club they are.
And you wonder why fans of other clubs hate us? We have suffered far more from delusions of grandeur.
I don't wonder why other clubs hate us, though I think it's a bit misguided. I just very much dislike Aston Villa.
Harsh but fair. I have never understood sympathy for other teams, the whole Wimbledon MK Dons debacle had nowt to do with me either so I didn't get my panties in a bunch when that happened. Also not sure why so many supporters have a "second team" either. They seem to fall into the categories of "I support Man Utd but still go and watch lower league dross like Salford 'cos it's part of my roots, know what I mean?" or "Yes I do support Nuneaton Town FC but always look out for the Stoke results 'cos me Dad took me there when I were younger, know what I mean? And the ever popular "Of course one supports Arsenal but one also wears a Barcelona home kit as, and let one be frank, we are the English equivalent after all. Does one know what one means?" No, I don't know what you mean. One team, that's it, no need to hedge your bets by hanging on to the coat tails of anyone else. Up the R's.
I look out for teams I have a soft spot for, but don't have a second team the concept is just weird for me it's like saying I love my wife but have a mistress for.... hang on!!! No QPR for me always will be if we ever fold, I will support the team born out of the ashes, no matter what league, nobody else
