super, hate to tell you this but Wellens was leicester' player of the year! Peter Clarke was huddesfield's! i don't know but i think you have been had my old son. has anybody got trading standards phone number for superman!
guru, fine if you are correct, my mistake on those. i'm not going to look them up - i can only go by what i am told by their fans.
It gets worse Nantheial Clyne was palace's, and murray was brighton's. Now explain to us again why these players mention are those clubs best players?
genuine quote from a leicester fan last friday on twitter "naughton deservedly won player of the year"... how can he get it wrong?!
its true i have got these from twitter, the mecca for insane natter, so it seems i have been had by one leicester fan and a city fan who claimed this to be so. humble apologies one and all. <muppetsmiley>
ah well, this will make you even more sure that we will be relegated! so my cunning plan to lure you all is weaving its magic and now you will ALL want to have that wager with me!! mwa ha ha
Is that an admission that everything you have said in this thread is untrue and should be ignored by one and all.
i've done myself no favours at all with that load of old codswallop warky! repeat to self: twitter is not a factual feed, twitter is not a factual feed, twitter is not a factual feed...
If the Championship was so weak last season, why on earth didn't the mighty 1p5wich mount a serious challenge, other than a mid-table challenge? Lets look at the Championship this season - Birmingham, Blackpool, Burnley, Cardiff, Leeds, Leicester, Forest, Reading, Southampton and West Ham all have better managers and squads than 1p5wich, so your challenge this season appears to be a 14th-10th challenge. I'm guessing you will all be clambering to type all 19 Premier League teams, saying they have a better squad than us. However, before you do, just bare in mind what we did last season with a squad that wasn't expected to even get in the play-offs, but more importantly, bare in mind, Paul Lambert, Ian Culverhouse and the rest of our coaching team.
carra, it wasn't a great standard last year, was it! i couldn't believe how poor it was. if we discount the first few months of the season when qpr ran off into the distance and we were still adjusting to life at that level, for the next 6 months we were the best team in that league by quite a distance in my opinion. had the season carried on for another 3 weeks we'd have overhauled rangers i reckon. we built a team with minimal money and were easily able to compete at the top - i'd say its a much tougher league next time around. its always difficult getting out of the championship, no matter the standard, but i'd agree on this occasion that it was weak. however, that is no indication that we won't stay up! as i recall, blackpool only amassed 70 points the year they got in the play offs and they did pretty darn well!!
Crud Lesser clubs would have been relegated considering the managerial mess we got ourselves into like Norwich did a few seasons back! I love the sweeping comment about all these other clubs having better squads and managers than us. Have you been doing your research on twitter as well!
