I understand it very well. You, on the other hand merely want to latch onto an anti-Spurs comment ( quel surprise!) made by some embittered spammer.
surely if I were an 'embittered spammer' I'd be having a go at supporters of successful clubs, rather than ones that think they are.
We've won more trophies since your last one than you've won trophies in total. You just latch onto Spurs because of the location and the fact that your fans are a bunch of inbred, anti-Semitic arseholes.
It all depends on how you measure success, Little Ern. If you are going to judge it only on who's won the league recently, well, that cuts out most teams in the league. If you are going to base it on continuous years spent in the Prem, then Spurs would clearly count as a "successful" club. I really do wish that posters would snap out of this "yeah, but your mum stinks, too!" mentality and accept the fact that this is a football forum, designed for the very purpose of encouraging discussion and chat.
Er..we ARE up,there with City & Arsenal. In fact, currently above all the above mentioned names. We've done this before. No Spurs fan I know of expects anything. In fact, were usually the ultimate pessimists after falling short so many times. However, yes, for the first time in a while, there looks to be cause for optimism. Pochettino has done an incredible job, IMO. Most importantly, we are nobody's pushover anymore.
so you consider yoursleves more successful than Chelsea and Man City as you've been in the top flight longer? I see......... no, no delusional spuds at all
Who said anything about us being better than anyone else? I was merely encouraging you to lay out your definition of "success."
