More Leeds fans there last night than against Boro. Shocking first half an hour but probably just edged it in the end. Need to drop Antenucci now and Mowatt was terrible. Coyle/Cook unbelievable. Berardi scored a worldie at half time too
Admittedly I'm only going by the radio commentary. But it sounded like both sides were going for it in the first 15 mins, Fulham nearly scored, then did and then got the upper hand. Leeds after scoring came back into the game and maybe shaded the last 15 mins or so. Although listening to Noel Whelan and Pope is sometimes more entertaining than the game.
I read the article, also read the comments section and found this below, exPat, Almeria, Spain, a day ago I am a member of this Online Face book page that is supposed to be getting paid to sing Cellino's praises. This is the normal rubbish that we the REAL supporters of Leeds United have had to put up with for months. The Face Book Page was opened when the REAL Supporters found out LFU were try to buy the Club. The CONNED Cellino into thinking the represented the Majority of the Leeds Supporters. The proved to be NOT so. 400 e,mails asking NO begging Cellino NOT TO SELL to them. Cellino then withdrew the offer. Since them Cellino, is family, REAL Supporters have been threatened with abuse and violence (Police now investigating) The guy who wrote this rubbish has since retracted it, saying it was a joke. If the Journalist has aske some question they would have found that out. The Anti Cellino protesters number 288, hardly a MAJORITY. They are.making the Club look a laughing stock with their antics. Does anyone know the actual figure of ST holders? Cellino has their money already tied up in a Sardinian bank, so if they turn up or not the only thing he or the club loses out on match day is the revenue from merchandise, food and drink sales. He'll make any of those loses up from the Sky money from the live games shown on TV...
So not a bad turn out given the circumstances....and there are a lot of circumstances to be resolved close season.

An awful lot of noise been made by the Cellino staffers about how few are anti Cellino. If they are right they can keep quiet cos it will die on its arse...... Oh wait a minut Pie tax rescinded, talking about selling the clubare are just coincidental. In terms of support in the proper monetary sense I wonder what expat from Almeria actually contributes in terms of time and money to actually supporting the club.... I realise I am myself moving from supporter to fan now but the opinions of supporters should always carry more weight than part timers or arm chair fans. IMO.
to be fair 2 very poor sides but we didn't really get a touch in the first 15 mins and when we did it was generally cooper hoofing it aimlessly or Doukarra chasing their defenders who comfortably outpassed us.
You can pass it a lot and make it sound good on the radio but in reality passing it around at the back creating nothing is ****
With respects Chippy, isn't it about time you started respecting those fans around the world who are still Leeds United supporters after the Bates bungle and rip offs. These overseas supporters may contribute by buying shirts, full kits and other souvenirs, either for themselves, their kids, or both. They obviously cannot get to games, but they may be contributing in other ways.........try not to let your hatred for Cellino divide you from other fans, after all, it was you who is claiming Cellino divided the fans......I find that funny, I thought fans were controllers of their own choices and decisions....... To be honest, I've never really heard of a part time fan. Does that mean they support Leeds when we win, don't when we lose, and then dive into fits of hysteria cos they're totally confused when we draw?
I am not making a judgement on the merit of value of those who are not regulars attenders per se. Let me put it this way. Until May I was attending every home game and about ten away league games, plus all cup games a season. Because of cellinos antics I binned the season tickets but was still attending nearly every home game. But there was even less return for this investment of time and money than last season. Three positive experiences following LUFC in three years isn't enough, and accepting it as OK is no longer an option for me. I now don't consider myself a supporter and am just a fan. My opinions matters less because I don't invest as much as the likes of WJ who still turns out every other week. Ultimately supporters support and fans don't. You are a fan just like me now. But only one of us pretends we can produce in depth analysis of games without watching them. Please don't think I am attacking those who travel great distance and see the team as often as they can, if I lived in Ireland, Scotland, Norway or even outside a radius of thirty miles I would have given up on LUFC ten years ago.
Can't help yourself can you Chippy, your obsessions are venturing wider. For the record, I'm a supporter, I support Leeds United, everyone is a supporter, you say you're a fan now, fans blow hot and cold air.
