not if it cost us promotion., would love another trip to Wembley, all I am stating is all these fixture changes are not helping, now we getting to the business end of the season..
The cup is just as important. You could say the promotion push is getting in the way of our cup run and we should play a second string in the league.
Whatever individual fans might prefer though it will be the clubs (or the banks) priority which will prevail and this will surely be to win promotion.
Promotion this season could be vital to the very future of HCAFC. How many players will we lose if we don't go up? And what might that lead to? The cups just a great way of keeping our second string involved.
I have seen City win the league twice, in 48/49 and 65/66. Time for me is fast running out to see them win the FA Cup!
The stats point to you and I mebbe seeing them win in the next life Bear - since 1990 only four other teams aside from Arsenal, ManUtd, Chelsea & L'pool have won the FA Cup, it's no big secret that the ''big teams'' don't start taking it seriously until they think they can win it.
The huge amount of money coming to the Premier League means we have to prioritise promotion to ensure the future of the club, saying that I am torn because I go to all the cup matches and want to see us play a decent starting 11. I think our squad can handle it this year though. Next year if the owners change then fans might get decent ticket pricing to watch us in the top flight because of the vastly inflated revenues coming, so all in all promotion for me is all important, I might be able to attend more league games in the future instead of the handful I do currently. Not seen us play in the League since Burnley and I feel like I'm missing out because the only way you can actually see whats going on properly is attending matches
Half time was just 2-1, we didn't have the 2 goal lead very long. And they scored well before full time (at 71 min) to equalise. So it's hard to say we had a hand on it. We had a great start to the final though, and pushed the match right to extra time.
