Yeah. Was a bit of a pain looking for the slightly shorter 2nd l to tag right person. Now youre spotty it's better. @Red Hadron Collider
Ordered two tickets for the last ever Hillsborough Memorial over the phone about 3.00pm yesterday and they've just been delivered. Well done LFC.
I know they've said last ever but do you not think there will be a commemorative service come significant anniversaries? Ie, do you not think Anfield will be used for the 30th, 40th or 50th years?
No, Margaret Aspinall has made it clear the time is now right for the families to move on with their lives in light of the new inquests and their chance to question all aspects of the deaths of their loved ones. She said the families thank LFC for allowing them to hold the memorial at Anfield every year and thanked the club the supporters, the blues and the city and Kenny in particular for all their help but said this will be the last ever memorial held at Anfield. There might possibly be a memorial for family members in a church in the future but the families seem adamant that this is the last on the day at Anfield. It's only right tbh, they've had to fight for half a lifetime in most cases and in some cases the parents or a family member has died since the fight for justice began, let them now(let their loved ones rest in peace)and live the rest of their own lives in peace.
Id imagine if everyone wanted to do something special for those special anniversaries (50 years etc) then guess the option will always be there
Probably, although I suspect it will just be a black armband and a minutes silence at the nearest home game to Apr 15th henceforth.
This sounds like a lovely night: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-held-honour-former-Rangers-England-star.html In Liverpool tonight - nominally two-thirds Irish Catholic. Perhaps his liver will pack up by then.
No doubt the Netherfield Road faithful(****s )will be there wearing their sashes. Plenty of catholic support at Everton, he might cause a **** storm if he gives it "the Billy boys" tonight.
my opinion is this is entirely up to the families and thats the prime concern. If they want something i the future done differently i would hope the club's door is open. I don't wish to say anything else on the matter but there is healing to do after the truth all laid out for all concerned.
