I'm sure that both Managers would prefer to toss a coin! In this case it is the TV companies (probably BT Sport) that will dictate when the replay takes place
It's still not sorted, despite us having someone working on it full time and Bruce's getting a bit miffed about the whole thing. There's a chance it will be on a Champions League day, but with a daft kick-off time.
Play it Monday 7th and tell Arsenal to suck it up. The precedent was set for us in 2014 against Brighton.
I don't know how Arsène will view it now, but if I was him then I would prioritise the FA cup now as the Champions league is more or less dead and buried for them. Not good news for us, but that is the reality of the situation IMO.
2-0 isn't dead and buried, Barcelona are a good side but they have bad days like anyone else, likewise Arsenal can be bang on it. Their B side featuring the likes of Walcott and Welbeck should be more than enough to steamroller over our B side featuring Alex Bruce and Ryan Taylor anyway, I doubt they'll be that poor twice.
The only time I have watched Barcelona play Arsenal in the CL was when I went from Italy in 2010. Score.... Guess who 4 - Arsenal 1.
Frankly I wouldn't put a penny on Arsenals chances of winning by 3 clear goals on their patch whatever the odds were.
TV want the game played ahead of the 6th round weekend and so does Bruce, he's worried that the FA Cup fixtures are going to cause too many of our league games to be moved.
