he didn't play for everton last year to regain fitness though warky. you can try and slant it any way you want but he is a good player. everton fans were disappointed he left - they wanted him to play. its a good move for him - he went last year without injury so thats good news. if we can keep him fit, he will be a great signing. its a bit of a gamble i suppose, but he was widely regarded as a future england striker just three years ago. he still has the potential, just needs to play games now. i've got a feeling he is marginally better than nathan ellington...
Supers I am merely debunking a post you wrote yesterday basically saying that you have only bought the best players from other clubs. The list you have given maybe true in some cases but the fact still remains that none of them have played in the premiership! The 2 players on the list that come from premier league clubs were loaned out last season.

hi gus, they all have different strengths. morison is not blessed with skill but he is very committed and strong, good in the air and an excellent finisher. people assume he is a big bruiser - he can play that way but check out some of the goals he has scored - he can score from anywhere... bennett and pilkington are both flair players as warky points out they have never even been close to playing in the top flight, but what they possess is flair, skill, pace and power - all attributes that are required to make the grade. pilks is coming back from injury so might not hit the ground running but bennett is so classy to watch - he'll light up match of the day. naughton is another with great technique whilst de laet has great pace and is good on the ball. we all know vaughan has huge potential. the only player we have signed who has raised an eyebrow is johnson from leeds. he played well against us and is combative and has good energy and a decent shot. not too sure he will cut it myself. warky, you can't debunk something i didn't say. i was referring solely to players we bought this summer. why would i be talking about the players we bought a year ago? plums, nathan ellington is one of the worst strikers in the championship. he has had two good seasons EVER. this was his blip, not the past 6 years where he's done **** all...
