Because he has no ambition and only wants to take this club backwards.

    He has outlived his usefulness.
He has also become the sole owner of a business competitor.

Not much of an explanation, 3 short statements with no arguments or examples to support them

    So again, explain please?

Although I sought of agree he wont be totally focused on city, I also believe he dosn't need to be as the finances are relatively sorted now. Job done. He is still a good addition to the boardroom and him buying FC should be a good thing in that it gives us a stronger chance of owning the stadium, albeit partly with FC but at least all gate receipts would go to the clubs.

    Serious?

Maybe it is what we need to drive on the plans for a sports village. Seperate owners of two sports working together, sharing a vision for sports facilities in Hull. Just a thought!

There is not enough cross sports support in the city, and very little incentive to do so. You never saw City advertising Speedway for the following Wednesday or vice versa.

I mentioned this on a previous message board when Hull Stingrays went pop but we could have an answer now with Adam and the Allams. The sports village provides the opportunity too. Get a gym on site and offer season tickets via the SMC for Rugby & Football with a gym membership thrown in. Also look to offer discounts at KR and Ice Hockey to get people out the doors and into the sports venues.

It may work, or it may be totally impossible but I think there could be something in it for the supporter and the clubs.

I think you should look at the wider picture. Do you not think that there has been some colusion with the Allams on this one and it now strengthens the case for them buying the KC/

Not sure about that, Adam did mentioning investing in Hull City when he returned. Perhaps that door has been shut?
    maybe it was never open!

My comment was a joke by the way. Adam is a fantastic asset to this club and if him taking over the egg chasers results in him putting less focus and attention to our club, it really is our great loss.

Fair enough, so there's only one numpty on this thread!

Not so sure about this being a great loss, he could become a great ally. Too early to make any assumptions though (unless you're Boothferry2Wembley that is)

You don't see a conflict of interest?
Adam's stated aim is to take the egg chasers to the top of thier sport, to fill the stadium etc. There are only so many leisure quids to go round in a recession.
Like it or not, the egg chasers are rivals for this money.

He has lots of ambition and desires to take a rival sporting club forwards.

So he can either leave and focus wholly on increasing gates at Hull FC
Or he can stay and work to increase the gates at Hull FC knowing that it's in his best interest not to take them away from Hull City or else he loses out anyway (given he makes money out of us too)

I'd rather him have a conflict of interest than only one interest that isn't us (not that he will as he's not that unproffesional).

AP has always had other business interests outside of City (and TWS and Derby for that matter).

Not sure on what basis you would say that he has outlived his usefulness?
