    If you call someone a black **** it's racist but not 8f you refer to someone as black.

    It does puzzle me as it seems if you praise the person it's ok but not if you criticise? I'm assuming "you're a hard-working black" would be perfectly acceptable?

    If someone called me an English **** I wouldn't say it was racist, because the English aren't a race. Bigoted or xenophobic, maybe.

    Every ****s offended these days, if you called someone a British **** in Ireland it would have the same result.

    Sandwich shop near Dublin called 'sambos' which is what people shorten sandwiches to had to change its name after protests :huh:
