Free for all online then to buy tickets? http://www.watfordfc.com/news/article/emirates-fa-cup-watford-arsenal-hull-city-2968105.aspx
It seems that because of TV schedules, replays etc, there is little idea at present when the game wherever it is will be played.
Not quite a free for all - ST holders and anyone who has brought at least 1 FA cup ticket this season. But with all games on TV, I can't see there being a rush for tickets at Hell
7th or 8th March looks the most likely. 8th is a night of of Champions League action and no major games can take place that day normally. The FA Cup is regarded as a major game. If it is played on the 7th a Monday, Arsenal would only have the Sunday to recover from their game against Spurs on the Saturday.
Gooners are due to play at home to WBA on 12th March and away at Barca on 16th March. All I can see they will do is play the replay with Hell on Sat 12th March, which will mean we have no game as we are due to play West Ham that day and they are still in the cup. We may have to wait a bit and will have more mid-week games ahead.
I predict Hull v Arsenal will be on Q Finals weekend, and we will play the winner 22nd or 23rd March. If this is what happens I definately wont be able to make it to Hull and back (OFAH reference there), but could make it to the Arse.
From Twitter. Date for #EmiratesFACup replay between @hullcity and @Arsenal confirmed for Tuesday 8th March at 7pm Its at 7 so there isn't such a clash with the Champions league games.
So is there time to get the tickets printed, sold and distributed to hold the match on the 12th? It cannot be the 13th or 14th if Arsenal get through as they have Barca on the 16th. All rather messy
At the 1/4 final stage last season Man U v Arsenal was played on the Monday night with two games on the Saturday and one on the Sunday. Both Liverpool v Blackburn and Reading v Bradford went to replays. Arsenal went out to Monaco in the CL16 on away goals eight days later.
The point being provision was made and the rounds played when they should be. There will be some slick negotiations going on. I reckon we will be playing on the Saturday lunchtime whoever we get. Either way as supporters, if it is Hull, we're stuffed for traveling.
I don't see that there is. Sales can only start on the Wednesday morning, at the earliest, and all tickets would need to be in the post by around 4pm on the Thursday. That's one hell of a logistical headache.
