When I left school in the 70s you wouldn't necessarily expect to lose your job over a smack in the mouth, no. There'd have been a handshake and a "no hard feelings mate".

The world has changed since then of course. Not sure it's all for the better.

For the record, Clarkson is a massive ****. But running to the bosses trying to get someone sacked is like a footballer rolling about trying to get an opposing player sent off; ****y behaviour deserving of a further slap.
 
A little question:

He insulted the geezer by calling him an "Irish ****/prick/whatever". Why is it considered racist that he included the nationality of the twat in the insult? I could understand if he'd used what is generally considered an offensive word such as "******" but the victim is Irish, it's an entirely accurate description. Is the word "Irish" now a racist insult?
