its quiet cos no one cares. you'll probably win come saturday cos its a benefit match for a millwall player - its supposed to be like that, it does not mean anything to us except that our players get fit (and probably mugged). it could go round and round in circles about who's bigger. we'd been in a higher division for over a decade and thought nothing of it. its history. this time next year, this year will be history and more than likely, we'll be in the same division. albeit, with us, still having a bigger ground, richer chairman, more fans, more class and more ambition.
There is another way. Rub your two brain cells together and see if you can figure it out by yourself.
Could well be Millwall, Leeds and Charlton together again in the same league next season but, which one?
Never said we were a 'bigger' club, Charlton as pointed out by TC had very low attendances in the 80s and these rocketed with your stint in the Prem. You have since fallen back to a more realistic level for your club and attendances are steadily declining Plans to expand! maybe invest in some decent players first if you plan to get promoted. If you want to see Charlton as being bigger go ahead We are the better team by a mile and success on the pitch in the present is what counts. Come back when you get out of League 1
Well Leeds and wall are not gona go down so you need to get promoted. Not gona be easy with Huddersfield and the 2 sheffields
Udders have lost some good players MFC and have not replaced them with same quality yet a lot depends on if they can keep Rhodes. Blades I'm not sure about, may take them a season to get used to L1.
Exactly Super MFCLion, sign better players? We've signed arguably the best LB and RM in the league (Wiggins and Green), Stephens who's possibly one of the best, we have BWP who is probably the best striker, three solid leaders in Hollands, Taylor and Morrison, as well as Evina, Pope, Bover and Pritchard who are all tipped to do very well in the future, as well as Hayes who has tore this league apart in the past, and Alonso who should do a job in this league As for attendances declining, true, but our lowest attendance over the past 10 years or so is still more than your highest average and so far we've already sold more season tickets than we did last year.
Also, forgot to mention, we beat off Championship (and at times apparantly Premier League) competition to sign Green, Wiggins, Stephens, Hayes and Alonso. Shows they understand our ambition.
we'll see who's in a mess in a couple of months mate - what are you gonna call yerself when Chrissy-wissy is sacked!
