Is that the emergence that has them 4th in the league and losing at home to Spurs and Leicester in their title deciding games? Total domination!
They are such a shambles from Woodward down I think it will take them a couple of seasons to win league again. Maybe 2017/18 rather than 16/17. They delude themselves that their squad is good but they have bought a load of ****e and will need to improve their transfer game massively this summer to win the league 16/17.
Scouse-like delusion. Two league titles and regular CL football, they are a force now. Decent commercial performance (however doctored), 54k stadium. Pep coming, rich owners... they have emerged as a force. No one said domination
Surely two titles means that their "emergence" is undeniable? Where have you seen any United fan deny that? I must admit, I find the way you've dumped Chelsea and jumped on the City bandwagon simply because they are now a more dominant force than Chelsea and because of your man love for Pep all a bit fair weather. Will you be posting a picture of your ticket for your first City game?
your signature makes me giggle @Stan anyway carry on guys, i thought im going to sit this one out. There isn't much i can add to what Hiag, Stan and Skylarker has contributed to this thread, in a very level headed manner. .
City?? No ****ing chance! Their defense is ****e! We took six points off them and put six goals past them doing it, so what to think Barca, Real, or Bayern would do to them? I would expect them to improve on this season once Guardiola gets settled in, but Kompany (when fit) excepted, their defense needs major surgery.
Those Goons of a nervous disposition should be restricted from watching to avoid permanent damage being done to their mental state.
... are you floating somewhere off the coast of Kos? ... if so Boris The Terrible (Hair) might just have put the final nail in the coffers on any return to Europe in the foreseeable future - you may therefore have to turn around and head back to Manchuria
Part 1 of this debacle has been concluded, but we have Part 2 to follow. For Englishmen and lovers of English football, I fear that we are all going to be in for a soiling of epic proportions, and we must all, each of us, partake of some of the shame that is to come. Pixie, on another thread, remains resolute, and has declared "we are not out of it, yet." Hurrah! for Pixie. It is stupidity of that calibre that has carried England to many a surprise victory in the face of certain doom. Pixie's prediction certainly adds a bit of spice to an already hot and exotic dish. The risk of ridicule clearly does not phase him, in the event that his prediction turns out to be incorrect. Or he may simply have no shame. For the rest of us, we will all be praying that Arsenal can hold things together long enough to avoid a complete spanking. If they can keep it to no more than 2 - 0 again, I think that Wenger and his Gunners may well be taking a Klopp-esque bow at having only gone out with an aggregate score of 0 - 4.
@highburyal (and other juvenile posters) You can try as hard as you like to skirt around the pain with your infantile homo-erotic insults, but the fact of the matter is that Arsenal got tonked 0 - 2 at home, and now have to go to the Bernabeu for an even greater tonking. Keeping on topic will not only reduce the tedium of your repetitive juvenile postings, but will also help to encourage proper debate. Thank you.
