Hated Shearer when he was a player, mainly because he was ****ing good! Don't mind him and his punditry now though.
Anal Shearer's feral attack on Neil Lennon is the most violent contact that I've ever witnessed from any footballer, and his regular acts of violence, with his elbows, towards other players negates the fact that he was good at doing what he was paid handsomely to do - scoring goals Him being a boring, arrogant, twat didn't appeal to me either but he seems to have developed into a decent pundit now Thrush, Speedy, Joey Barton, Suarez, El Hadji Diouf, Maradona, Drogba, and Kevin Nolan would be 'up there' in my list, and the most hated current footballer, for me, is John Terry . . . . I really can't stand that arrogant **** p.s. I have 'hated' all of the above over the years, but I don't really hate any of them
