Massively dissapointed,I thought we played ever so well up until they scored. Was the referee as bad as he appeared to be ? I couldn't make my my mind up if he was ****e or whether it was the crowd being so partisan. It is obviously different seeing the game live and being able to see replays on TV.The one thing that really pissed me off was the number of Arsenal fans taking photos of Messing taking his penalty. They're supposed to be Arsenal supporters not Messi fanboys <grr>
The atmosphere was absolutely brilliant last night,it's a shame it's not like that for every game.
I got home at 4-00am and as well as being pissed off and tired I had to defrost my ****ing car <grr>
When I got home I made a panad and put the TV on,the next thing I remember is Mrs GC waking me up at 8-00am as she was getting ready for work. The lazy birch only woke me up because she wanted a lift <grr>
A word of warning to everyone,it was incredible the amount of people I saw being refused entry to the stadium last night because they had either fake tickets or membership cards.People need to be very careful before trying to buy tickets from unauthorised sources.

The atmosphere coming across on the wire sounded terrible. I spent most of the match saying how bad the atmosphere was. At a point Giroud was pleading for the fans to get involved. I don't like the atmosphere at the Emirates. No wonder we're not scoring goals there.

Unfortunately people leave early at every game.I am disabled and always leave with as few minutes to go.This is to miss the queues in the toilets and to get away from the crush as the crowd leaves.I also have to get back to the coach park and want to take my time doing so

You might disagree, but I think it's time to get cheerleaders into football matches. With increased attention on the financial side of the game and with ticket prices being so high, the atmosphere in most big clubs will a problem now and in the future.

I've got to say, while I'm annoyed as **** that we conceded the two late goals like we did, and that we didn't score - the less said about Flamini the better!!!

I'm not too disappointed as realistically we were always going to get knocked out of this tie, but we gave it a good go, got hit by a sucker punch and an idiotic **** up and can now concentrate on the league which is our main target.

I'm with you on Welbeck. I might criticise him sometimes, but he does bring a load of energy and closing down to the plate. I would have used him to double up with full back to provide additional defensive duties.

That's all you can ask for sometimes and thankfully the performance was good enough to not dent our confidence in the league. We should be able to resume the charge forward. But hopefully this summertime will see us grab a quality CF that will make us more competitive in the Champions league.

Flamini was a shade unlucky - Mertesacker has to take his fair share of blame for the error. Otherwise I agree with you.

Last night's game was a Category A fixture and the cheapest adult ticket was £64, in my opinion the atmosphere was excellent. On Saturday against Hull it was a Category C fixture with the cheapest adult ticket being £26,there were also £10 tickets in the "Young Guns" enclosure and the atmosphere was piss poor.

Getting those tickets are very hard sometimes. It's different for seasoned goers like you, but people who need to watch their spending find themselves on the outside very easily. It's ironic how a sport that was for the working class has quickly become for the middle and upper classes of the financial ladder...

I watched the match on Spanish TV and the noise sounded pretty good until the inevitable happened.

What you guys need in order to win the PL and progress much further in the CL, seems to be an upgrade on the likes of Chamberlain and Walcott. This was exemplified when the Ox steamed down the right at "Bolt" lightning speed, but with poor control of the ball, body movement and thought ended with the resulting ugly clattering with Mascherino. A better player such as Ribery or Robben or Pires would have put more thought into what to do with the ball.

Suarez wouldn't be all that good with Sanchez in my view you need a big guy who can hold the ball up like Drogba did for us and can play people in. Lukaku at 22 yrs old would be an amazing acquisition for you guys and wouldn't break the Arsenal tight arsed purse strings.

I think they'd be excellent together - both hard working and mobile - like Sturridge and Suarez, or the Barca MSN front 3 (though obviously not as good) where they can both interchange, play either flank, upfront or drop off and create, and if you wanted you could always have a 'big guy' to play in the middle of them.
