Now this may show someone's age (Nev I'm looking at you old timer) <laugh> but what kids cartoons/shows do you fondly remember from your childhood?

Was just showing the kids some intros the other day. With things like Super ted & Danger mouse getting revivals we'll have some more reminders in the coming months.

I make my kids watch them, my attempt at "educating" them.

They've sat there and watched He-man, original Thundercats, original Turtles, Dungeons and Dragons, Transformers, M.A.S.K , Captain Planet, mysterious cities of gold and then something a little more modern The Xmen.
Managed to watch a couple of Jayce and the wheeled warriors and Ulyses on youtube.

Would love to find Pole position, BraveStarr and Centurions.

And he acted like Freddie Mercury.
Claypole was a class act though.
He made wearing a jesters outfit almost seem normal.

Oh yeah only 3 channels, black and white no colour and transmission mostly from around 4pm to 11pm, would have a short lunchtime transmission for news and watch with mother, I have no memory of it but I watched the 1966 World Cup Final with my dad, brother and about 20 others on a small set.

    ITV/ BBC on a Saturday morning/ Evening.
Between then you used to bugger off out and play. None of this sitting at home playing on the PS3 or watching lunchtime kick off ****e. FA Cup Final had a proper build up too. Start at 8am if I remember right and went all the way through to after the game. Proper TV. Might have my blinkers on, but far far better.
