Anybody seen this movie? I watched it the other night and have to say I've never seen a movie like it, the visual effects were quite unusual with all the fight scenes playing out like a video game but I thought it was quite funny. Any other movies that you've seen were you think "Wow!"
2001: A Space Odyssey Went to see it at the Filmhouse a few years back shown in it's original 70mm print and with the original soundtrack and effects. Brilliant.
Funnily enough I watched it on Sunday night, it's a 'visual feast' and it was funny in places but it lacked any real 'substance' if you know what I mean? I did enjoy it though. Tron Legacy is the most stunning movie I've seen recently, it really must be seen in HD!
It's ****in' awful. Something that pretentious Edinbuggerer wannabes like to associate themselves with. If you want a real film try watching something with substance and interaction between characters and a plot. ****in' 2001 - slightly upmarket version of Thunderbirds
Based upon Nev's recommendation I watched the Human Centipede last week.Thankfully it was on TV and I hadn't paid anything for it. What a load of utter ****e.
Only film I've ever been to the cinema to watch twice. That's really the only way to appreciate it fully. OK the story is practically non-existent and you really really want the bad guys to beat the **** out of Cera, take Winstead up the wrong-un and make her scream their name until her hair changes colour again, but the effects and set plays are great and the humour is spot on for geeks like me.
Is that an unintentional pun? A girl in work described this movie to me and I couldn't think of anything less appealing. I'm not a fan of torture porn!
I've not seen any "Wow" films in ages. I saw Cars2 at the weekend (with the kids, honest) and it was crap. Michael Caine, what are you doing? Just retire and stop spoiling your legacy.
I hate films you have to think about like Inception. I want to go home, drink beer and watch something funny. Maybe that's just because I have limited intelligence but that's how it is.
