Predictably, you are coming out windmilling, Pixie, hoping that your display of bravado will distract people away from the truth - that Barcelona dominated you, from start to finish, and that it was only down to cowardly, park-the-bus anti-football tactics that prevented the score from being far more embarrassing.

By any standards, a 0-2 away-goal advantage, going into the 2nd leg, is a drubbing at this level.

The goons simply were not positive enough imo, try and play your own game at home and park the bus away in the hope of nicking 1 or 2 not the other way round, despite that it was only a few lapses in concentration which cost them in the end and 2-0 isnt bad at all considering its Barca but the tie is over and they are out 100%

Calm down fella. I'm not quite sure what Mignolet has to do with Barca dominating you in your own yard

 

Thought we played well today, tbh. We had a game plan, which was to sit deeper and try to counter. Weren't really overrun but conceded two sloppy goals. So dominating isn't quite the word I'd use.....

 

So, to summarize Part One of this thread...

There really is nothing positve to come out of tonight's debacle, for the Gunners or their hapless fans.

It is mate, but I thought Arsenal coped very well for the majority of the game. They let their guard down on a counter-attack. Don't get me wrong they're a great, great attacking front 3, but to be considered the best 3 "ever" you have to blow Arsenal away. They didn't do that. It kind of reinforces the idea that those 93 goals are as much about the opposition as it is about them.

Btw I was watching Barca tonight and thinking, give me the Barca side of 09-11 any day over this side.

 

Very poor tactics from Wenger. Gifting Barca the tie by being scared to play your normal game is piss poor tbh.
