No, you saying it's "almost compulsory" is the bullshit part.

Did they take a few days to arrest him, or have they simply taken time to announce it? He'd been identified online within a couple of hours.

Their statement says they arrested him this morning.

I guess I'm jumping to conclusions that the lad in the video was indeed the coin-thrower. There's always a chance he might have been wrongly accused by the nearby fans and it could have been someone else.

He should be publically shat on on the centre circle before the next kick off, then hanged and left dangling to rot from above the main entrance to the ground, whether he's guilty or not. It'll serve as a deterrent to others.

And serves him right for being a WBA fan.

Or am I being too soft?

Absolutely agree. The jokes are distasteful. Just my two cents.

    cretin/ˈkrɛtɪn/

    noun
1.a stupid person (used as a general term of abuse).
2.a person who is physically deformed and has learning difficulties because of congenital thyroid deficiency.

Example: 'tubbylard thinks throwing coins and other projectiles at sporting events is normal behaviour; hence, he is a cretin.'

For the avoidance of any confusion, in this particular case I was using option 1... :emoticon-0112-wonde

What you're saying is, you have no self-respect and would do anything for money.

No Bobby I don't think he's saying that at all- you need to read the words again.
I think he's saying that there are millions of people in the world who would agree to let people throw stuff at them for £30,000 per week, and who would consider that easy money.

It's not so much about self-respect, more a case of easy money.
