Off Topic The Avenues

Maybe a 'change of use' didn't need to be applied for but the facts are, and if you lived in the Avenues you would be better briefed, the whole scenario how this 'change of use' came about stinks to high heaven which is why the locals are a tad unhappy.
People knew exactly what was going on yet to chose not to discuss it with the people in the area who they are supposed to represent.

I moved back to my roots, away from all those tree hugging idiots from the Avenues. You actually see me in the Polar Bear which is hardly the Avenues.

OT but I do love the way some people use 'tree hugging' as an insult. What could possibly be wrong with liking trees, and in broader context, nature?
