Who the **** is going to listen and be inspired by that stroppy, arrogant, bald waffen SS ****? He has been here a month, left his last club under a cloud, had two decent games and had a go at the manager? Surely Janmatt would have been a better choice? This is a just a reflection of McClaren's failings as a manager. This isn't a captaincy issue - just him scrambling as he has lost the ****ing plot. I think this will add further division to the dressing room as well.

If Colo has thrown a strop and 'out' till April that means Saylor playing! Which means we haven't got a ****ing chance! Say what you like about Colo but he is better than Saylor and Lascelles. Him and Mbema are the only CB pairings I would remotely trust.

I like the suggestion of Mitro - at least he gets up for it. Some added responsibility might give him abit extra to his game.

I knew I would never win that vote when up against No Chance. I mean to say I don't take back handers in my game whereas...

  5. I only had Nev, you or RHC to pick from. No way I was picking RHC and I thought Nev was instrumental in help me win :)

I'd have agreed with you a while back. However I think Colo has now regressed behind even Saylor and Lascelles. Which is quite an achievement really given one is never fit for more than a week and is all bravado no brain, while the other is young and looks potentially poor. Colo has been one of the worst players we've had this season. He can't even seem to muster a few good performances now. He is just constantly ****, always bottling, and basically is not showing any leadership whatsoever.

What a ****ing set of options we have to partner Mbemba. We need a complete overhaul of the situation. None of this pissing about, just go get 2 new centre backs. One first choice. One who can do a solid job as back up. At least one needs to be 25 plus. Preferably around the 26-27 yr old mark.

Not sure about him being behind Saylor - Saylor looked older than Doumbia and Martins and ran slower than Shola. Also, Saylor left his brain somewhere and is still looking for it!

Repeat that to yourself again. 'Lascelles and Saylor', imagine them at CB together. Do you have that mental image? I do and its about as welcome as bowel cancer!

Probably but you have always been a masochist at heart Rolando. I cannot endorse your deviancy but at the same time I cannot condemn it.

Lascelle's does not convince me. Having said that, Coloccini does, not convinces me either.

Best pairing is Dummett and Mbemba IMHO but then who plays LB? It's a shambles.

Okay, okay, I know what you're saying. I'll be there for the next game along with my Alan Kennedy home strip from 1977.

Lascelles is very young in centre half terms, happy to give him time. The other one needs melted down into rubber as he is shocking  You know it deep down too. When Paul Dummett is superior to you, you have defensive issues.

I do and its not pretty. But any defence involving Colo v2 has become abhorrent and akin to sticking knitting needles down my japs eye for ****s and giggles. You have to let it go mate, his time went 3 years ago. When wooden Stevie moves past you in the ability stakes, its time to retire.

Yet Colo has been the constant in the worst defence in the league this season

Coloccini has been here since 2008. I can only remember him having two decent seasons - Championship and the season we finished 5th. The rest of the time he has been ****e. He is also an absolutely shocking captain. I feel sorry for Mbemba. Having to play alongside that useless ****. Even worse, when he comes back, he may have Saylor as defensive partner. Bollocks.

I've had it with the defenders now. I'd had enough of their incompetence 3 seasons ago but now when I'm rating Saylor ahead of Colo, it really is dire.

Most normal clubs would have had a shortlist of about 20 defenders ready for January. Not us. Although I rate the signings of Shelvey and Townsend [jury is out on the other two], we should have had a CB and LB signed. Lee Charnley ****ing Graham Carr [or vice versa] no doubt.
