I have not got a match preview for this one. However a few stats: Preston have not lost in last nine matches Currently sitting 8th in the form table 10th place in the Championship Home record: Won six, drawn six, lost four Coming off of a win against Sheffield Wednesday They have kept quite a few clean sheets this season Failed to score twice in ten matches So the prediction will be by how many goals will we lose by? +1? +2? +3? >4? In other news, an addicks fan sitting in the Fulham home end offered his season ticket to Miere, but she refused to acknowledge him. The Newsshopper interviewed the young man who stated, “I simply said, ‘what part of competitive championship club is this? She just sat there quietly.” This really cannot continue much longer, Roland surely knows that something has to give; he cannot have a club without any fans. On a side note, many of the players attitude is not acceptable with the exception of Henderson and a few others.
If I were Riga, I would go for it tomorrow night, and play the most attacking line up possible. That means starting with pace up front [Lookman], and ditching the plodders and the incompetent. A few of the duds from Fulham must now be consigned to the dustbin - out goes Makienok, Bergdich and Fox, and I certainly would not play Harriot as any sort of striker. It is pointless playing slow, sideways cautious football when you are effectively 7 points from safety with 14 games to go.
Another tanking. I can't remember the last time we troubled an opposition goalie, let alone actually score. It doesn't really matter what team we play, so I'm going for 4-0.
We always do well in the North West I reckon we will play masterful possession football, albeit without having a shot, for the first 25 min. Following an unlucky own goal which ricochets in off Naby Sarr's arse, we capitulate in totally unexpected fashion and lose 3-0 for the 7th time this season.
It's quite melodic and you can keep repeating it. The Naby Sarr one's quite good but you couldn't sing it in front of the kids...
Quite direct and to the point. What I wanna know is why we sign such crap players for obscene amounts of money? I've been doing some comparisons between these fools and one Chris Powell promotion season and it's proof that we're losing money per player and manager signed vs. previously.
Sad to see your lads struggling always had time for Charlton , don't rule yourselves out of winning tomorrow football is a strange animal, safe journey to the few who come up and after tomorrow night good luck for the rest of the season and more importantly getting the club back in the hands of people who know what they are doing
I'm actually going later - I have a PNE supporting friend so promised to make the journey (which now includes a flight in to Manc). Definitely not going for the team. its going to be a long night I imagine. I fear another 3 or 4 changes being made - probably someone who wasn't even in the last match day squad. How has Harry Lennon played - chance of being dropped?
Lennon - not the best, but not the worst either. Last Saturday he was up against the best striker I have seen in the Championship this season - Dembele Who could you drop Lennon for...Naby Sarr ? Imagine....
I'm so out of touch - Bauer and Diarra are still injured I take it? We have Motta waiting in the wings also - though none of our ''reinforcements'' have been deemed ''ready''.
Bloody hell - a Charlton message board moderator who doesn't know anything about Charlton - I thought I was on Into The Valley for a minute Bauer and Diarra still out injured - hard to imagine either of them still being with us in League One next season.
Just under a week with no wifi, and a refusal to spend on data roaming will do that!! Interesting re Bauer - what sort of figure could we get for him? Hasn't exactly merited the seven figures we reportedly paid.
If we paid a million for him, that was one of RD's better signings. Like all our better players, his value has halved after involvement in our dysfunctional set-up.
I think paying more than £20k for any of RDs signings I'd consider to be a complete waste of money. Especially when we paid less for Yann.
