With August fast approaching I went on the BBC site and did my league results predictions for the first 11 games of the season. Now I was not biased towards City in any way, (No, none of that squire, that was right out!) but perhaps my decisions on some of the City games were coloured by thoughts of Bellers being there and Naylor not!!
the city results aside,i tried to be objective. this is what I got.

    1. Blackpool 25
    2. Cardiff City 24
    3. Reading 24
    4. Birmingham 23 (Only 10 games played)
    5. West Ham 22
    6. Portsmouth 22

I got burnley in 7th place but again with only 10 games played and 20 points.

At the bottom in accending order, Palace, Derby and Watford, all on 4 and Ipswich just above on 5.
I've always been a KTFer but the rest is honest, and City do have some of the potentially easier clubs early in the season.
Anyone else done the Predictor? What do you think the league will look like?

Got a feeling we are going to start slowly this year with so many new faces and hopefully end up doing what Norwich did last year and rocket up the table in the last few months.

Agreed, I think the first 10 or 12 games will see us finding our feet then push on from November like Norwich and Reading last year.

Patience with Malky and the players is the key as far as the fans are concerned. Rome wasn't built in a day. If maintain our support and we manage our own expectations and cut Malky and the squad a bit of slack - not getting on their backs - they will grow in confidence with the rewards coming through when it matters.

I was thinking there would be a slow start and saw us bottom third after 10 games but improving as the season went on with a top third finish, possibly playoffs. However, given the speed with which we got our new recruits and the lack of business done elsewhere (with one notable exception) I think we will be mid table, possibly just outside the playoffs after 10 games with the playoffs a distinct possibility. There is likely to be a lot of activity elsewhere in the next couple of weeks, though several of the opposition appear to be losing rather than gaining players - Burnley.

How is that, have the Swans been relegated already?

Reminds me of the guy who went to the doctor`s and said my old boy is shaped just like a rocket! The doctor said that`s strange what does your wife say? Oh she`s over the moon!

Sorry to confuse Sussex.....it`s just that it mentioned we play the easier clubs early in the season!
