Wasn't a problem because when the footie season ended in October for realists the hunting and fishing seasons got into full swing. :emoticon-0148-yes:

If we were to lose our next two the Bolton game could be a real relegation dog fight I suppose.

Stop pretending he isn't your God. He wanted to try it with a proper football club but was sadly lacking <ok>

That's because he was an 18 year old youth player at the time just starting out in football.<doh> and only played 29 games.<doh> but still was better goals per game than your best player steve morisson who only scored 7 in his first 29 league games this season.<whistle> but maybe morisson will improve when he gets a bit older, how old is he now ? <laugh>

Was thinking along those lines myself TC,

I was wondering what happened to the performance we put up against Middlesboro, then it became obvious, we were playing same type of football as Watford.

I suspect Evans gave'em different instructions instead of saying "play like you did against Boro".

My way of thinking has always been, if we play a team that plays a slow game, then we play a fast game, and vice versa.

Agree with you in part Boggers, but not about Beckford or McGreedy.

If we had better mids who knew how to feed strikers, like other teams have, then our strikers would be scoring more goals, even, dare I say it, Wood, cough cough splutter, untill we get those decent mids then any striker for us is going to be starved; even commentators were saying same thing.

When you are playing a premier league team away you have to stop them playing or you will get hammered, the system worked up until Wooton scoring the own goal.

I agree Chesh, but Watford always had the edge over us, and we weren't stopping them playing the football they wanted to play, our defence, keeper and some off target shooting was on our side.

Had we played at a faster pace, like against Boro, it would've / could've upset their momentum and things could've been different.

It's just my way of thinking.....:emoticon-0148-yes:

Then again it could have been a draw and we'd have got them back at home. It's all irrelevant now anyway. Didn't think much of Watford(missing players or not)<ok>
