Given the circulation of the papers, only a minority of people read one. What are the figures for the UK's most popular daily, The Sun... somewhere between 2 and 3 million.

With Boris committing himself to the OUT campaign, this is Boris making his bid for the Tory leadership through right-wing populism. He will undoubtedly bang on about immigration, regulations, and how much more advantageous it is to be out. Suppose the OUT campaign win the vote. Dave's days as PM are numbered, Boris is lauded in the right-wing papers, he becomes leader of the Tories and ultimately Prime Minister. Now to me, Boris is the British equivalent of Donald Trump!! Do we really want that?? Better off in with Boris buggering off to some tax haven.

Boris is very clever and well educated man and vastly more intelligent than trump.

Being a Buffon is an act with boris , I doubt it is for trump .

Boris had to make his move, Osborne is positioning himself as the centrist replacement for Cameron, so Boris had to be 'something else' or risk fading on the sidelines. He's certainly not representing the interests of London anyway, with over half the population coming from outside the UK and the city being the financial center of the EU - it's benefiting more than any other part of the UK from the open market, open doors policies.

Alco, well done on starting this thread, was waiting for someone to do so, let the other guys have a go and all that.

    A couple of points:

I'd have made the voting options:
    • In
    • Out
    • Undecided
    • Won't Vote
I'd have gone for a more catchy title e.g. "Europe The Final Countdown".

    Still, not a bad effort.

And the Tories in London have lined up an even bigger d/head to replace him!! I might have to apply for an Irish passport if the UK people vote for an exit!! Or a Spanish one as I am now resident in Spain!!

FYI: the UK got along just fine before the EU existed, leaving the EU does not equate to Armageddon.

I'm not and never have been a flag waver, you on the other hand have probably got the odd tricolour design about your house.
