I won my school championship (was in rural France though), I also started the Chess club on our Watford page, you should join

Oh and I won regional championships so GIRFUY.

I thought Cats was nowhere near as good as Chess right enough. Amazing to think that Spassky inspired such a wonderfully entertaining musical. Great stuff.

The best musical ever though must be either West Side Story or Carousel. I am particularly keen on the Hollwood 1950's film musicals.

 

Come out, come out whoever you are.

 

I absolutely hate Carousel and would very much like to dig up Rogers and Hammerstein bring them back to life and torture them horriby before killing them slowly for making it. Why? Because if there has ever been a more annoying song than You'll Never Walk Alone written then i haven't heard it.

 

The song in the musical is fantastic as is the theme song. It has been ruined though by cavemen supporters of Liverpool and then Celtic who like people to think it belongs to their club.

Everything about Liverpool FC and Celtic FC is false, I'll grant you that.

 

Miss Saigon, even although it was a rip off of Madame Butterfly is good for the big helicopter at the end!
