Morning all from a very bright, sunny and chilly Bandit Country - beautiful winters morning outside. As I look out over the garden, I can see many different birds feeding on the various devices Mrs W_Y has assembled with various food stuffs - it's funny how some birds like some items and ignore others. Goldfinches are going mad on the Sunflower Hearts this morning, a Robin is on the veggie balls and the biggest fattest Wood Pigeon is nibbling on some stale bread.
Very pleasant. .we have some blackbirds, tits and chaffinches this morning... magpies thankfully are in someone elses garden.. We have a walk planned ( rain coming ) and i am doing a Yorkie curry this evening
Blue-Tits now on the nuts and a fleeting glimpse of a Wren (I think) - no Magpies either at the moment, so the rabbit is peacefully sleeping in the sun. Very pleasant morning..
Good morning all from a damp and mild Weston-super-Mare! Have a good day and good luck to your Golden Boys!
Morning from a chilly St Helier. A few years ago, in Budapest city centre I saw a "Tesco Expressz". I was woken up by a cold caller at 8.45 this morning - it's just as well I was only catching up on missed sleep, not feeling the effects of a good night out!
Good morning all from a cold and dry Weston-super-Mare! Have a good day, fingers crossed for a good draw tonight!
Monthly dinner date today with the football friends. Good meal, happy chatter and a trip to the semi final not so far away. It just needs the sun to appear.
Afternoon all from a very windy Bandit Country - next storm has arrived! #2 sons birthday today - 28 and next week he will be a dad!
Have a sore nose this evening. I was playing indoor softball this afternoon and was running to second base. Unfortunately for me, the fielder at second base was on second base - a fielder for a base isn't allowed to obstruct a runner unless they have the ball and are trying to get the batter out. He didn't have it and I ran straight into him as I was going at full speed and was too close to avoid him when I realised where he was. The impact made my glasses fall off and made me dizzy, so I had to retire from the match. Apart from the afore-mentioned sore nose, I'm fine now.
