WJ. Can't be bothered to read back, I got involved (foolishly) because of how"passionate" you get in the defence of Cellino.
I find your support of him every bit as obsessive as your accusations of those that want him gone.
There is absolutely nothing wrong "mentally" with those that want Cellino gone than those that think he should stay. You see things differently and It's a difference of opinion is all.

 

I think Jock is starting to realize that he was completely wrong about Cellino, but instead of holding his hand up and admitting it, he is attacking those that were right all along. The straw that broke the camels back was when he was openly gloating about how right he was when the club statement was posted only to find out it was another massive lie!!

I thought I'd put this to bed with you. I don't defend CELLINO, I simply try to debunk any unfounded allegations, rumours, rag hate stories etc. I defend my CLUB, and unsubstantiated attacks on Cellino attack my club, which sets the rags afire, and the circle continues. End result is that we are ridiculed constantly as a club, and now we read that players such as Barton would not entertain us because of the 'nonsense' surrounding us. And most of it is nonsense, sadly. I simply want to break this cycle for the benefit of the club. Others choose to use it and fuel it to further their own campaigns, such as the 'Cellino out' campaign, for example.

I have said before that there is no substantive, corroborative evidence. There is recognition of effect, but the cause is not taken into consideration. Let me give you an illustration of this: I may leave the house to find that the lovely new car I loaned my son last night is smashed up on the drive. Dealing with the 'effect', I may go mental & rant at him. However, if I had to address the cause, I might find out that he actually saved lives taking avoiding action when someone ran into the road, or someone crashed into the stationary car, or some such reason. What we have in the case of Cellino is the presentation of the effect, without any reference to the ACTUAL cause. This is probably because no-one actually knows what the cause is. For example, he has been castigated because he has not bought ER, after saying on more than one occasion that he will. Now it could be that he's just a tight junkie, as some would have it - and it might well be, for all I know! However, given the track record of GFH, it might well be more likely that he will suffer massive penalties if he does purchase ER, as there may well be clauses in their agreement whereby GFH actually benefit from any such investment without spending a penny. Perhaps not the best example, but I'm trying to show that Cellino might actually be doing the right thing for him & the club. Equally, he might not. We really, really don't know, and judging effect instead of the cause is not the way forward IMO. We could actually be biting the hand that feeds us

I've rambled a bit. Really one for the spoken word rather than War & Peace. But hopefully I've made my point. Constantly punching my lad for damaging the car without considering the cause would be unforgivable. I really don't like misinformed vigilantes who think they're 'doing the right thing'.

And the club statement has not been disproved. 71 silent Chairmen are testament to that. And the rags would have been in meltdown by now. Nothing to discuss here. Move along. Or more satisfactorily, just go!
