I don't think Jose, or any full time manager, will want to take over before the summer. LVG has created and overseen an absolute car crash situation. I maintain that the squad is decent but a new manager will need a pre season to rip up everything LVG has done and start again.

The press going into overdrive over one throw away comment by the sister of someone at the club "No, he’s happy now, he’s going to Manchester," This is as bad as asking the checkout girl at the Megastore at Old Trafford. Behave ffs!
Moratti's sister and Store girl are same?? I just wish LvG lose to Shrews and Jose joins you before your game against goons. Maintains his unbeaten run against Goons by getting just a draw. Denting goons further.
I'm with Stan - There is no way Jose will take over before the summer. He doesn't want to be associated with this team at all this season, he wants to have a pre-season with new signings on board (and the dross kicked out). I wouldn't be at all surprised if Giggs hasn't told them where to go either - in which case you can begin to understand why LvG is still in the job despite the results.
Good question. Conte is gone and Guardiola is gone. Laurent Blanc is successful in a one team league and Simeone would take some bedding in to the premier league. I think we have three options; 1, Keep LvG for another season with Giggs taking over after that. 2, Steal Pochettino from Spurs 3, Grudgingly settle for Jose. We'll see how the season pans out first anyway so it won't be happening soon. My preferred option is 2, followed by 1 (in tandem with Gary Nev) and 3 last.
I don't know, I seem to be alone in not judging him on his current out going persona. I think he'd be more than capable of taking it on after another year. That would mean LvG for one more season though!! I would also add the proviso of Gary Nev being his right hand man, taking care of the defence. Pochettino would be my choice also, I like they way he's got Spurs playing, I like how he's found some absolute gems and mixed his team up with youth and some experience. I think he'd be a good fit and capable of the step up.
Whatever the outcome this summer, I will just support who will be the manager. Though for me I want it to be Jose.
