Just noticed we haven't really got one of these. Good to have somewhere to keep an eye out at this time of season? Agents Hull done us a favour taking moaning Arsenal to a replay (which will cause even more moaning no doubt). Good for us it's just another game for them
Chuffed they've got a replay, take that bit more stamina out of them. It'll be great if they get past Barca, but doubt it very much. Cheering Spurs on too in Europa league!
I must say I´m happy too, but I still can´t see winning the lge & a top 5 finish is still my hope. Having said that, IF we carry on playing like we are & don´t slump/have a bad patch at this crucial time of the season then we have a chance of winning it, of coarse. I´m really hoping my hopes will change to a top 3 come the end of March, but it´s game by game. Please just don´t slump now Leicester... wait til pre-season.
We won't win the league but imagine if we finish 2nd or 3rd and qualify for the CL group stages!!!!!!!!! That would be staggering .... Sensational !!! It my happen!!!!!!!
Bad news, Spurs out 1-0 to Palace. Could have done with them having a replay or even just going through. Man City also on the way out to Chelsea. Spurs for me are the biggest threat currently over Man City and definitely Arsenal so hopefully they keep going well in Europe
Man City in a bit of disarray, 3 defeats in a row. Chelsea could have quite a say in the final shakeup as they now seem back to normal. Man Utd have also lost Rooney so that should help in keeping them back in the pack. Top 4 very realistic for us.
another 5-6 wins will see us secure a top finish place (though we want 3rd at least to avoid a tough CL qualifier)
At the risk of inviting Hull supporters onto the site and starting a 'we're better than you' debate, I must say that was a great result for them against Arsenal. Credit where it's due.
Bit of a stretch to call them rivals now but Villa lost 3-0 to their own U21 side http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...Garde-watches-team-lose-3-0-closed-doors.html
Man U beat Shrewsbury 3-0 and have West Ham in the next round. As a 'rival' for a top four place potentially this is good I think as anything but would have left Van Gaal clinging on even more and if they were to get a new manager and put a good run together now, it could put pressure on us so the longer he hangs on the better!
Be interesting to see how Man Utd perform without Rooney in the next few weeks. Do well and it could help make his mind up on a nice earner in China.
Arsenal are all but out of the champions league so although normally I'd want Hull to beat them, we could do with them getting through so they still have more games to play. I still see both Spurs and Man City as more of a threat though
They'll probably focus on the FA Cup a bit more now, a squad as big as theirs has no excuses for not being able to compete in 2 competitions.
Man Utd have done us a favour but Swansea didn't. Are 2pts ahead of Spurs in second and 5 points ahead of Arsenal in 3rd.
Looking more and more like a 2 horse race. However, there's still a long way to go and will be extremely happy with a top 4 finish.
