To be honest I think Rachubka has done a sound job since he has come in & is quietly plugging away. He may have been signed as a number 2 but I dont think he has done himself any damage & must have caught Grayson's eye. I can see Lonergan starting in goal against Newcastle but is that enough of a pre season under his belt to take the number 1 jersey for the saints game? ?

when you signed Rachubka you were all shouting and yelling he was your No.2 and you were still looking for your No.1 <ok>
now youve signed your No.1 he is so bad your hoping your No,2 will now be your No1.....<laugh>

Mighty, I am happy with the signing of Lonergan & think he will do very well for us, just pointing out that Rachubka hasnt put a foot wrong and has worked with our deffence for a little while now & wouldnt be shocked if he got the nod on the opening day.

Like many other fans of all clubs I judged Rachubka before I had seen him play but he has suprised me & although I think Lonergan will be our long term no 1 I think Rachubka may well start the season. Either way he will push Lonergan for the jeresey more than Higgs did with Kasper <ok>

Rachubka has done well. I`m hoping Lonergan will be another Nigel Martyn, who was a great goalkeeper at a struggling club.

Actually Kasper refused to do what the GK coaches told him to do in training and ****ed off to do his own thing. He also apparently alienated every player in the squad with the whole "do you know who my father is?" act.

I've seen everyone of his preseason games and against two Champions league clubs he conceeded one (that he had no chance with).

Overall in 5 games he has conceded 3 goals <party>

Plus he has made some blinding saves and has organised the defence better than I have seen since we had Tim Flowers.

Andy, he started off like that for us as well, but halfway through his whole outlook, demeanour and even skillset changed for some reason.

    We'll see then shall we?

But he asked what I had seen so far and I answered with what I had seen so far.

He looks Promotion worthy to me, much better than Andy Lonergan <laugh>

And we've seen far more of him than you. And believe me, when he feels he doesn't have to impress anymore he will drop considerably.

You mean Andy Lonergan who was wanted by 4 PL clubs over the course of last year, as opposed to Kasper who was wanted by, erm... none.

Good luck, you'll need it <ok>.

Kasper does a great star jump save though, just like his old man. He has to considering he wont move more than 2 yards off his line due to the worry of burning calories.

name them and link me to the source.

I don't believe how a 30+ year old goalkeeper who let in 78 goals last season and got relegated could be chased by 4 prem clubs.

you're living in your own world of delusion mate <laugh>
