Yup, similar left foot, similar vision but unfortunately different times. Arguably, young Emerson - sometimes forget he's only 19 - is in the wrong place at the wrong time. And the most galling thing of all is the lack of foresight among the Fulham hierarchy in getting him tied down to a decent contract a year ago.
It's a shame we overloaded our options in his position, I'd prefer to see him in ahead of OHara, as much to show him he has a future but also because I think he can play that role well and be our go to Murphy option. We'll do well to hold on to him, don't know how much influence the new manager can have on it
