    He is a lying ****.

He claimed that the club owed him 2.5m for the remaining 2 years of his contract.

JIMMY Bullard is claiming £2.5m in compensation following his sacking last August, the club accounts confirm.

    The National Daily Mail

Ipswich star Jimmy Bullard has dropped his £3million compensation claim against former club Hull.

Bullard, 33, is currently serving a two-week suspension imposed by the Tractor Boys.

He was sacked by the Tigers last summer after an alleged breach of discipline during the club’s pre-season training camp in Slovenia.

Suspended: Jimmy Bullard has currently been suspended by Ipswich

Bullard, Hull’s record £5m signing, sued the club after they cancelled his lucrative contract when it still had two years to run.

But after months of legal wrangling he is understood to have accepted a modest settlement and both parties have signed confidentiality agreements.

My ex missus worked at the club and she sent me a picture of his wage slip. It was 45 grand. He's just made all of that up

That claim obviously wasn't for the full wage, he could only claim for the difference between what he was earning with us and what he was earning at Ipswich.

He's still full of ****e though.

Its all relative, to him that was about half his regular annual income, if you got an extra 50% of your annual income spread over 2.5 years you'd hardly call it a 'life changing' amount.

Almost 100% sure that a contract wouldn't spell out a weekly wage like that, he is full of ****.

Not his fault of course, but the gloating in this article does make me wish a freak yachting accident upon his mother

At least Ryan France came up from League 2 with us, for the amount of increased revenue during his time here we got as good a deal as he seemingly did

Bullard generally has a decent rep outside of Hull though.

Agreed with the poster above though - when on form he was a cracking player. Would have liked to see him give us 2-3 seasons worth

Unlike others I actually don't dispute the figure and the claim from the unnamed pundit in the article that it would've come out by now doesn't ring true. I know for a fact that Kevin Kilbane, when he first signed, was on 44k a week but it never widely came out and I'm always completely rubbished when I say it.

He wasn't fit when he signed, his op with Dr Steadman was booked before he signed the contract.
