Clearly lately it looks like people in the presser have generally started. I have no issue admitting that. Earlier in the season it was quite often an injured player or someone who then started on the bench. I have no idea the criteria for picking the player.
I know Meyler did one while he was out injured, but that's the only one I remember, they're nearly always starters, as I believe I may have mentioned...
Maloney, Dawson, Davies and others have done some when either injured or on the bench. Again, I'm really not that fussed, but if it would satisfy you I'll pull up the stats again.
Ok. OLM decided to pursue it despite me 'leaving it' so I thought it must have been quite important to him.
You're just squealing, if you want to list the 19 press conferences done by players who didn't start this season, then do so, if not, just shut up.
That's not how science works, Chazz. Fact. Facts are merely repeated observations, upheld to test a hypothesis. If we want to develop a General Theory of Presser attendance to starting eleven correlation then more testing would be needed. Control Pressers and meta-gamology amongst other things. Take a look at this quick diagram wot I've drawed. I reckon we've only done the green bit and the light blue bit. please log in to view this image I think that there's a PhD in this if any of the lazy, bastard students on this site can be arsed. Mebbee Lamby's company can sponsor the 5 year research project needed?
How much you offering as a research grant and can I be paid up front in boobies and scotch? Prefereably at least 18 years old. Also the scotch.
Boobies and Scotch. Nice to see that the basic necessities of student life haven't changed any in the last 30 years.
We haven't had 38 press conferences. But it looks like I was wrong. before the turn of the year - which was when I last looked at it, it was about 35%, not 50%. Apologies.
And since you seem to have been dying to know: Hayden for Preston at home, Robertson for Forest away, Akpom for Wednesday Away, Maloney for MK Dons Away, Snodgrass for Leeds Away. That's 5 of the 14 press conferences we had. I agree, that's only a few, I thought it was more than that. I either mistook some players for not starting, or had a look at it earlier than I thought. Either way I was clearly wrong.
It's no biggie, I was just certain that most players at press conferences are starters, as I was last time we had this conversation. I'm not sure what your 14 press conferences are though, we've played 39 games so far this season and almost all of them had a press conference.
I'm going off those broadcast on the YouTube channel. I think they don't upload midweek games from the looks of things.
