CJS I'm sure that many things in your earlier post are right but we do still have Bristol Rovers. If he is only remembered for bringing us into the twenty first century ground wise then he cant be all bad
Now we are allthemoneyintheworldaires I would like to see a lot more investment in youth coaching and youth development hopefully with this investment we might have a better chance of keeping our youngsters.
Reading the other forum, the press conference wont be live on radio or on this is bristol facebook page as previously stated. Rovers changed their minds about allowing it to go out live. Have to wait now for the club to release the youtube video. You can though follow tweets on twitter . I will post them on here as and when they come in.

My guess.... Higgs will stay in charge until end if the season and the Jordanians will be learning all about the club and fanbase until then. Rovers then lose the court case and the Jordanians will change their mind and their watertight contract wasnt watertight and we then go into administration.
As I cant be assed copying the link to each comment on twitter, I will just copy and paste the comment so it wont look like the tweet but look like in saying it. It will be from official press not fans.
Bristol Rovers have confirmed they have been taken over by the Jordanian Al-Qadi family. Wael Al-Qadi will become president of the club. The family have taken a 92 per cent shareholding in the League Two club. Former Swansea City chairman Steve Hamer is Rovers' new chairman, with Nick Higgs standing down.
Nick Higgs: This is a momentous day in the history of Bristol Rovers Football Club. Al-Qadi family looked at other clubs but chose us because of potential.
Higgs: Always tinged with level of sadness (to leave) but it's a fantastic opportuntiy for club. We're custodians and this is opportunity we couldn't lose for club. Tinge of sadness but also excitement for what future holds. Higgs: Downside of Sainsbury's pulling out of deal but that is ongoing, and ups and downs on the field. But this is a great time to be involved with Bristol Rovers. Higgs: We've delivered what we feel is very exciting prospect. Nick Higgs unwilling to disclose any numbers and figures regarding the takeover.
Nick Higgs: "We first met them in September of last year. Became apparently quickly they wanted to buy and they saw the massive potential."
