didnt it have its entrance set back between from what is/was "New York hotel" and what was a new build "nettos" im sure i remember a creamy white archway and black iron gates (before nettos was built there) or am i making that up ?
You're right, one of the Hull history Facebook sites had a picture of it on a while back, it still had a sign up for the old Icehouse.

It's registered with a Pakistani national operating from a solicitors address in London, it looks somewhat dodgy. I suspect the Council will end up owning it, they'll just assume ownership when the owner doesn't cough up for the demolition.
It seems the New York Hotel site is going to be a temporary car park until someone decides to develop it.
Will it be an iconic, landmark car park? One which will attract visitors on 2017 to look at other car parks as they seem to be the main things which will definitely be ready on time.
