By the way Neville should get a special mention as he was doing what we wanted so easily and believing we were innocent so much that I considered if he was actually the warden and on our team at one point <laugh>

Pleased he ended up on our side (the winning team) as it felt like he had helped us to get there <laugh>

All it takes is one good, logical argument to be put forward and it's then in the bag when people have nothing else to go on. On the first day I was convinced upstairs was the right decision, but as soon as the consensus moved against it you don't want to shout too loud about it and then be seen as pushing too strongly against it without any firm reason for doing so. That's what Style did on day two and it almost got him lynched. The idea of trying out a unanimous vote for location was genius. It then left anyone not voting with you as sticking out like a sore thumb as a bad guy with an agenda.

Astros logic day one was all about chemical smells and linked to different type of poisons and then they grow **** in the garden ffs <doh>

Rather than.. Someone died upstairs, lets investigate what happened <doh>

At at the time I questioned but now you no why and what was really going on it makes believing Astros logic look even more stupid lol

The problem is, you're Biscan. You always get targeted early. You were as likely to have been killed for just being you as you were for anything else. I asked the question several times on day 2 but it was dismissed as being just cos its you by he vocal players on the board - who to be fair were nearly all bad guys <laugh>

yeah... I think seriously people need to park **** at the door.

there's an awful lot of I'm killing this guy stuff going on..... football rivalry, prior games etc need to be ignored.

I think it is a bad thing cos it will kill interest. plus if you end up on a team with a guy you don't want a strained relationship etc. after all if X doesn't try to kill y as usual everyone knows what that means.

same reason why the dead were give a role in this game.. i expected a bit of it.

I voted to go upstairs. However, I already knew his point about the chemicals was right and that one of the chemicals he mentioned was the one that had been used. That's why on day one I took astro as being a good guy (and protected him <laugh>) - he was the only one looking at the clues we already had about the murder and trying to say they should be what we focussed on. I disagreed with his location choice but I figured townies would be wanting us to focus on the clues and the bad guys would want us to ignore them. That sealed my fate with believing astro for too long.

I was also disapponted my guard duties didn't let me follow my cove theory, though I planned to switch from the start anyway to show I was being "reasonable" and willing to not just push for one direction. That then turned into anti-North and the unanimous vote campaign.

BTW it also seems the warden had an actual recruit power at 1 guard left. The recruitment anouncement was just a bluff to spread confusion but it was a reasonable guess in the end.

You should have asked your mate - he was the one studying the distant shoreline!

Some guys do take it too seriously.

For me it's just a laugh, I always go on about getting revenge on Sebb and yet I've never voted to have him lynched or killed in the subsequent games.
Although I did pick him eventually for the next kill if i survived last night but at that stage I knew I was unlikely to survive!

Acting like you bear a grudge or just joking with someone is part of the banter, at the end of the day I pick my actions based on how I read the game at that moment in time.

It can be fun though when you want to get a response out of someone. There are certain posters you can always guarantee a meltdown out of, with different people having different buttons you can push. If you can get the meltdown to happen then they nearly always let something slip. Obi is a great one at doing it to me. He always seems to know how to push my 'overthinking' button. When Funky (off the mackems board) joins in these games he is definitely easy to wind up. You just light the blue touch paper, count to ten and then grab the popcorn. It shouldn't ever be used as a reason for lynching or killing though - well not unless you're already ****ed and just want to get a revenge kill in to go out with a laugh!

    Oh, and MITO........

If I get a knock on the door in the next few days because of my browsing history then I'm blaming you!!!

In the last few days I've googled...

Sweet smelling chemicals that kill people
What are the effects of cyanide
How high do you need to be if you want to make sure someone dies if you throw them from a height
What is the best way to snap someone's neck
What happens if you try to drown a drunk person

    among others......

Just like you are likely to survive because you're an asset to the bad guys :)
