    Makes you wonder why the Government has closed down so many airbases. Not to mention getting rid of Nimrod without a viable replacement. And then there's our aircraft carrier fleet that has no jet fighters because the Tories scrapped the harrier without a replacement being available.

    Threw all their eggs in with the upcoming F-35 which has been a bit of a catastrophe and is still beset by literally "hundreds" of software and hardware issues.

    Until it comes online your Tornadoes & Typhoons are at the mercy of the Sukhoi SU-35S.
