theories for weeks relating to a takeover.

Americans, Jordanians, former Directors......and Steve Lansdown......have all been mentioned.

Now there's a strong feeling that there will be a Press Conference on Friday, when our
fate/fortune will be revealed. /

I can't believe that with his wish to have control of all things Bristol as regards sport
he won't have at least a passing interest in what's going on with us.
He does have links with UWE, having advised them on financial matters; and received an honorary degree

Personally I don't think he's involved, but don't rule it out completely.

 

He wont be allowed. I might be wrong but I dont think you are allowed to own more than 1 club in the same country. I dont think there is anything stopping a person copntrolling an English club and an Italian club for example. I think the Watford owner owns an Italian club too. But I dont think you can own 2 English clubs.

 

Going back to the point in this thread, Friday will come and go without any announcement. Someone on one of those forums will say there will be another delay and all will come out next week blah blah blah.

I cannot see Higgs selling up at all until he gets an answer from the courts over this appeal with Sainsburys.
